Calling all Jags fans...
Is anybody out there? It's been a while since anyone has sent a question or comment. So I'm curious to know if people still read the blog.
Anyway, it appears that the Jaguars have just one more player to sign before the start of camp. The club signed linebacker Justin Durant on Friday and safety Reggie Nelson officially becomes a holdout if he doesn't report tonight for a team meeting. Vito's story about the Durant signing is up on Jacksonville.com. Check tomorrow's Florida Times-Union for more details on the signing.
As for camp, my advice to fans is HYDRATE. I joked with Vito at a meeting yesterday that he should start drinking plenty of water before the start of camp. I started my hydrating regimen on Thursday.
Also, be sure to check out the blog during camp. We plan to provide lots of live reports and breaking news as it develops on this blog and on www.jacksonville.com. We've also been in the planning stages of revamping coverage on www.ultimatejaguars.com. We'll produce a ton of video and plenty of exciting features about interesting Jags fans, in addition to providing in-depth analysis about the team.

Keep the blog posts coming, Mike. I'm looking forward to some first hand accounts of the WRs, QBs and new safeties. Can't wait to get the hitting underway!

I'm pretty interested in seeing how the WR position battle pans out, too. It all starts tomorrow.
By the way, we spoke to Maurice Drew today. He down to about 208 pounds "so I can fly this year," he said.
Mojo doesn't have to do anything more than he did last year. Just stay away from the sophomore jinx, and he and Freddy make a great tandem.
I'm eager to see if Sharon produces with pads on, if Mike Walker's knee holds up to the everyday practice, and how Broussard handles his first pro hit (I think he might break in two).
Guys there's some kind of problem w/the blog. For some reason, the latest entries aren't showing up on the main page.
