Jaguars work out Liwienski
The Jaguars worked out former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Chris Liwienski after Wednesday's practice and there's a chance he could sign today if he passes a physical.
Although Liwienski, 32, has logged starts at virtually every position along the offensive line, the Jaguars would use the veteran at guard to add depth to the position. Liwienski started 14 games last season for the Dolphins. Liwienski also played for Jaguars assistant head coach Mike Tice at Minnesota from 1998-2005.
Originally a seventh-round pick of Detroit in '98, Liewienski was released by the Lions before the start of the regular season and later signed by the Vikings. He's started at left guard, right guard, and right tackle and has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals.
