Wright On

Florida Times-Union reporter Michael C. Wright covers the ins and outs of the Jacksonville Jaguars. In this blog, he'll share behind-the-scenes anecdotes not published within the pages of the T-U, in addition to offering up incessant ramblings about nothing such as road trips, crummy hotels and not-so-delicious press box food. Perhaps he'll even delve into serious discussions about NFL issues. So ask questions, participate in conversations, or just learn more about the Jags.

Garrard out, three QBs in for workouts

David Garrard is out for "more than likely three or 4 weeks" according to Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio, who elevated backup Quinn Gray to the No. 1 spot.

In addition, three veteran quarterbacks visited the facility on Wednesday for workouts. Del Rio wouldn't reveal who worked out (although we learned later that it was Todd Bouman, Drew Henson and former Florida Gator Doug Johnson), but it's likely the club could sign a quarterback sometime today. We'll update this story as more information is available. Check out Vito Stellino's story in tomorrow's Times-Union or on www.jacksonville.com
