Florida Times-Union reporter Michael C. Wright covers the ins and outs of the Jacksonville Jaguars. In this blog, he'll share behind-the-scenes anecdotes not published within the pages of the T-U, in addition to offering up incessant ramblings about nothing such as road trips, crummy hotels and not-so-delicious press box food. Perhaps he'll even delve into serious discussions about NFL issues. So ask questions, participate in conversations, or just learn more about the Jags.

The atmosphere at Heinz Field
PITTSBURGH - It's hard to describe the atmosphere here at Heinz Field for the AFC wildcard playoffs. So I figured I'd take a pictures or two of the Steelers fans waving the terrible towels. Hope you enjoy.
Pretty funny anonymous. One thing that struck me as really odd is the way that place swayed once the crowd got to rockin'. I've been places like Denver and Seattle where there's a distinct vibration in the press box. But in Pittsburgh, the place was literally swaying side to side. I was worried that it was gonna fall.
Say what you will about Steeler fans. At least they can fill a stadium for a playoff game. The low class display of the Jags players in the endzone at the end of the game tells you all you need to know about the organization and why it will never be in the class of the Steelers.
We have until Wednesday the 23rd at 9PM to cast ballots for Fred Taylor FedEx Player of the year and FedEx will make a huge donation to our local Children's Hospitals if Fred wins.
